Usually when people are designing a certain style for any living space they tend to look at colours that fit each other well, mixing reds with dark blues or other shades of red, mixing blues with whites and more orange-y colours. However when I set out to design my new kitchen look I wanted something striking, something that clashed, I saw that most people tend to go for either all white, all dark, or dark worktop with lighter door colours. However I chose to opt for the more contrasting black cupboards with a white top. The overall look is stunning and the worktop looks great, the white broken up by little flecks of crystals that shine in the light. Great look for my kitchen.

I love the simplicity of this kitchen worktop; the white flecks pick up a lot of the natural light in my kitchen which really brightens up the place, the white of the top itself also helps to lighten the place. The surface of it is smooth which is great to the touch and makes it easier to prepare food as the chopping board doesn't wobble around on an uneven surface like my last one did. The other benefit to it being smooth is that there's not really anywhere for germs to gather in little nooks, and as I'm a bit of a germaphobe that is a great thing! Thank you for this great worktop.
