So you've gotten to this stage in the renovation planning, well done! You've likely decided on some nice appliances and cupboards that you wish to have fitted into your kitchen and are looking for a new kitchen worktop to bridge the gap between the two and tie everything together. Well you've come to the right place! We here at Cut Price Kitchens sell a wide variety of kitchen worktops perfect for whichever needs you need suited; we offer high quality and cost effective worktops from such loved brands as Maia, Minerva and more recently Artis. However we're going to be dedicating this list to our range of Maia worktops, with one for both Minerva and Artis coming out in the near future.
So what do people look for in a good worktop? It's really dependant on the person looking. Some people want a bright and flashy worktop with pearl shavings that hit the light beautifully and cast a brilliant light show whenever the kitchen light is turned on; while others prefer the more subtle approach, those who either wish to or already treat the kitchen as an area to relax. These people tend to look for more dulled down and darker colours. However there's one thing in common that everyone wants... Quality; and Maia worktops are bursting with it.
First up on our list we have our Maia Cristallo Kitchen Worktop, a brilliant white worktop that oozes quality; the white colouring of the worktop mixed with the subtle silver flecks leaves you with a look that could take your breath away. Due to its bright nature it does wonders when paired with the natural light flooding in through your kitchen windows, allowing it to carry on into the rest of the kitchen and illuminating every corner.
Next up we have the gorgeous Maia Brazilian Greige Kitchen Worktop, what colour was that again? You heard correctly: greige... But what is greige? And why have I said it so many times? It's exactly what it sounds like, a pairing of beige and grey, leaving you with a much darker colour than regular beige yet distinctively different to brown. This is paired with many small flecks of white, grey, brown and the occasional glint from a natural metal. Truly one to think about if you're looking for a unique and calm look for your kitchen.
Finally we get to one of the darkest worktops we feature on this site: the Maia Greystone Kitchen Worktop. This aptly named worktop features a slow blend of black and darker greys with the small flecks of light greys all the way to deep blacks. This colouring works especially well with dark wood cupboards and grey appliances, however you could be bold and go for white wood cupboards and appliances. This worktop truly packs a punch and is sure to blow anyone away after stepping into your kitchen.
