Bought 2 for the kitchen as replacements for two stools which literally cost 5 times these units and which had both lost there raise/lower function after a few years use. These units are equally as comfortable and well made, they look good and I am expecting many years of service. They are sturdy yet light enough to move around the kitchen. They were easy to assemble and arrived within a few days of ordering. At the price what is there not to recommend.

I ordered 2 bar stools from another supplier and they turned out to be so flimsy as to be unusable. I am delighted to report that their replacements from simplybarstools are in a different league; solidly constructed with a large base providing excellent stability. They also look really stylish. I am confident that I will get years of use from them.
